Dr. Halverson is Board Certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine and American Board of Allergy and Immunology. He is an Adjunct Professor of Medicine, University of Minnesota Medical School, Division of Pulmonary, Allergy, and Critical Care and teaches medical students and residents in the diagnosis and care of patients with asthma and allergic diseases. Dr. Halverson serves on the Fairview Physician Associates Credentialing and Membership Committees.
He is a Fellow in the American Academy of Allergy Asthma, and Immunology and Fellow in the American College of Allergy Asthma and Immunology.
Dr. Halverson has been actively involved in clinical research for over 25 years serving as Principal Investigator in many clinical trials in the areas of asthma, allergic rhinitis, COPD, and atopic dermatitis.
Dr. Halverson has received the Minnesota Monthly Top Doctor award in the field of Allergy and Immunology.

Dr. Halverson is married to Stephanie and lives in Maple Grove. He has four children and two step-children. Outside of medicine, his primary interest is spending time with his family. In his leisure he enjoys golf and photography..
